Services have appeared on the darkweb where users generate fake ID cards using artificial intelligence using a neural network that bypasses KYC verification and thus violates AML policies on various registration websites such as crypto exchange sites, securities, stock exchanges and so on.
404 Media journalists discovered OnlyFake, a service that claims to use neural networks and artificial intelligence to create fake IDs and documents.
Researchers tested OnlyFake and successfully passed KYC-verification on several cryptocurrency exchanges.
Currently, the OnlyFake website is down, and the operators of the service claim that it is not intended to forge documents and "it's complete nonsense."
